Description:
This is a pack of cards for playing the traditional Chinese game of Kanhu, or Watching the Tiger, made using the Mahjong tile pattern. It is one of the oldest games, with its rules first recorded more than a thousand years ago, when it was a craze in China. (Kanhu was popularized in England by Sir William Henry Wilkinson, and released as a card game by Goodall & Sons at the turn of the 19th century as Khanhoo).
